The Willow Pod is handcrafted into a unique shape from sustainable Willow woven onto a self-supporting frame, which gives the coffins exceptional strength and lightness. Following a traditional coffin shaped footprint, the sides of the base taper out slightly and the coffin is topped with a highly sculpted curved lid.

Urn Name Plates & Engraving

These beautifully crafted Eco Friendly European Willow urns are manufactured in the EU using cottage industry methods, in which people work in their own homes and use their own equipment to create these products. Willow is a deciduous tree found primarily on moist soil in cold and temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Willow is a renewable, annually harvested crop and a highly sustainable material for urns, compared to solid hardwood trees which can take thirty to sixty years to reach maturity.

With every urn order we include a free of charge bamboo name plate (this can vary in design dependant on the style of the urn but the one most commonly used is in the photo below) this is blank and you can either have this engraved by us (using engraving lines 1 & 2, 3 when you order for an additional charge of £18.00 per line) or you can arrange for this to be done yourself or by your Funeral Director).
